Role Description
We are seeking a motivated IT Support Representative to join our offshore support team in Pakistan. This role involves providing technical assistance for our remote access infrastructure while supporting dental office staff with their day-to-day technology needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with basic Windows experience and a problem-solving mindset who is eager to learn, grow, and build a career in IT support
Key Responsibilities
Remote Access & System Support
- Monitor and troubleshoot remote access solutions.
- Support Windows fixes, configurations, and system stability.
- Manage user mapping and permissions in remote server environments.
- Assist Eagle Soft and Open Dental software users.
- Collaborate with senior IT team members on complex technical issues.
End-User Support
- Provide technical assistance via phone, WhatsApp, and remote support tools.
- Help staff with hardware setups (printers, peripherals).
- Troubleshoot common Windows and Microsoft Office issues.
- Guide non-technical staff with step-by-step, clear instructions.
- Document support tickets and maintain accurate records.
General IT Tasks
- Respond to miscellaneous technology requests from staff.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting.
- Support routine maintenance and IT operations.
- Participate in team training and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Basic experience with
Windows operating systems
. - Strong
English communication skills
(written & verbal). - Customer service orientation and patience with non-technical users.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work during
US Central business hours
.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous IT support or help desk experience.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools (AnyDesk, RDP).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience with ticketing systems.
- Technical certifications (a plus, not required).
