Job Description

As an Assistant Manager – IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance across all business units. Your role will include overseeing network systems, server management, data security, hardware/software assets, and IT support operations. You will play a critical role in driving technological efficiency, ensuring system integrity, and supporting the digital transformation initiatives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems, servers, and storage infrastructure.
• Ensure network and system security through firewalls, antivirus, and data protection protocols.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to safeguard company data.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements for optimal uptime and efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT hardware, software, and connectivity solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT support team for smooth daily operations.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and documentation in compliance with organizational requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend upgrades to enhance system performance.
• Support user access management, IT troubleshooting, and helpdesk issue resolution.
• Coordinate with departments to understand and fulfill their IT infrastructure needs.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and maintenance contracts.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, server virtualization, and IT security tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Server environments, Active Directory, firewalls, and networking protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
