About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Consulting Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in international education consulting, with an understanding of scholarship pipelines and the ability to develop and implement effective systems. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to manage and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

Consultation and Advisory:

• Conduct in-depth consultations with high-potential candidates to understand their academic background, career goals, and preferences.
• Provide expert advice on suitable education paths, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid options.
• Assist candidates with complex application processes, ensuring they meet all requirements and deadlines.

System Development and Management:

• Design and implement systems to streamline the application process and improve the candidate experience.
• Develop tools and resources to assist candidates with document preparation, interview techniques, and other application elements.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance existing systems and processes.

Research and Client Relationship Management:

• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in international education, scholarships, and admissions.
• Conduct thorough research on universities, programs, and scholarship opportunities to provide accurate and current information to candidates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
• Ensure consistent follow-up and communication with candidates, providing updates and answering queries.
• Collect and analyze feedback to continuously improve the quality of consulting services.

Administrative and Collaborative Tasks:

• Oversee administrative tasks related to scheduling sessions, maintaining records, and updating the client database.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and initiatives.
• Report on team performance and progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Education, International Relations, etc.); Ideally someone who has experience of applying for a fully-funded scholarship including (but not limited to) Chevening, Commonwealth, Fulbright, DAAD, Erasmus etc.
• Strong understanding of the international education system and scholarship pipelines.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective systems and processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite. (extremely important)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Hours

Monday - Friday. 10 am - 7 pm. The hours are not flexible.
