Job description

The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business-related dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) with a specific focus on the poultry field. The role involves gathering data from various sources, conducting comparative analysis, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive business dashboards using the Qlik Cloud platform.
  • Document Functional and non-functional requirements by collaborating with business stakeholders
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, visually appealing, and provide real-time insights.
  • Regularly update and maintain dashboards to reflect the latest data and business trends in the poultry industry.

KPI Management:

  • Identify, define, and track business-related KPIs specific to the poultry field, such as feed conversion ratio (FCR), mortality rate, egg production rate, hatchability, and average daily gain (ADG), Region and district-wise production comparison, environmental parameters comparison, and others.
  • Create and monitor KPI reports to ensure alignment with strategic goals in poultry operations.
  • Provide recommendations based on KPI trends and analysis.

Data Collection & Analysis:

  • Gather data from our own software as well as multiple internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance, especially in poultry operations.
  • Conduct comparative analyses to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the poultry field.
  • Use advanced analytical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable insights related to poultry performance.

Reporting & Presentation

  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports and summaries to stakeholders, focusing on poultry-related metrics and business insights.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including production, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in poultry data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes specific to poultry operations.
  • Work closely with IT and other departments to enhance data infrastructure and reporting capabilities for poultry-related KPIs.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or masters in Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data collection, analysis, and interpretation
  • Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, creating dashboards and reports for poultry operations, including tracking feed efficiency, flock health, and production metrics.
