Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned
Product Owner
with deep expertise in
Microsoft Dynamics 365
and a proven ability to drive digital product innovation. This role combines
strategic vision, business acumen, and technical fluency
to deliver Dynamics 365 solutions integrated with modern web experiences (React Router–based website).

As the steward of the product vision, you will ensure that Dynamics 365 and related Microsoft technologies are leveraged to maximize business value, streamline processes, and provide intuitive user experiences for both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Own the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy for Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring features solve real-world challenges.
  • Anticipate and integrate emerging Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Azure services, AI copilots) into product strategy.
  • Define KPIs and metrics to measure adoption, performance, and ROI.

Backlog Ownership & Delivery

  • Manage the product backlog using
    Azure DevOps or Jira
    , prioritizing by business value, complexity, and dependencies.
  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria to guide delivery teams.
  • Partner with consultants, architects, developers, and QA to ensure sprint outputs meet functional and technical standards.
  • Oversee release management, from readiness to post-deployment stabilization.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams.
  • Lead workshops, product demos, and sprint reviews to align vision and progress.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests while maintaining transparent communication.
  • Build data-driven business cases to influence executive decision-making.

Governance, Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure Dynamics 365 configurations comply with
    security, data privacy, and global regulatory requirements
    .
  • Promote data integrity and governance best practices.
  • Maintain detailed documentation (architecture decisions, release notes, process flows).

Skills & Competencies

Functional & Technical Expertise

  • Hands-on experience with
    Dynamics 365 CE/ERP modules
    (Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Central).
  • Strong knowledge of the
    Power Platform
    (Power Apps, Automate, BI, Dataverse, Power Pages).
  • Skilled in
    process mapping
    and optimization (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro).
  • Exposure to
    Azure services
    (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical capabilities.

Agile Product Ownership

  • Mastery of Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and backlog management.
  • Advanced proficiency with
    Azure DevOps/Jira
    for sprint planning and reporting.
  • Proven ability to prioritize based on ROI, customer value, and strategic alignment.

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Exceptional communicator, adept at bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled facilitator with strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Analytical thinker with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience leading cross-functional, distributed, and multicultural teams.

  • M365 Suite

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Product Owner experience (3+ dedicated to Microsoft Dynamics 365).

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM/ERP).
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate.
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I/II) or CSPO.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
