Job Role

The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing the credentialing and re-credentialing of healthcare providers. The role involves verifying provider information, maintaining accurate records, and communicating confidently with clients and healthcare professionals to ensure all credentialing requirements are met.

Comprehensive training will be provided, so no prior credentialing experience is required, only strong communication skills, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and review healthcare provider documents for credentialing
  • Verify provider information such as licenses, certifications, education, and employment history
  • Update and maintain accurate provider records in internal systems
  • Communicate with clients and providers confidently and professionally
  • Follow up on missing or incomplete information as needed
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and credentialing standards
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (in any field)

  • Fluent English with a clear American accent
  • Confident communication skills – comfortable interacting with clients and healthcare professionals
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to training and process updates
