Job description

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:

• Develop and execute the financial strategy in alignment with the company's business goals and vision.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to optimize capital allocation, pricing, and profitability.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual) for stakeholders, including the board, investors, and management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations in financial reporting.
• Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance and operational efficiency.

3. Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management:

• Ensure the company's financial practices adhere to all regulatory requirements, including tax laws, audit standards, and financial regulations.
• Oversee the preparation for internal and external audits and manage the relationship with auditors.
• Manage risk identification and mitigation strategies related to financial operations, market fluctuations, and regulatory changes.

4. Inventory Management on SHE Software:

• Ensure inventory is live and organized by sector in the CRM module of SHE Software.
• Oversee real-time updates and reporting on the inventory dashboard.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to optimize the inventory module.

5. Tax and Compliance:

• Lead tax planning and strategy to minimize the company's tax liability while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal tax laws.
• Work closely with tax advisors to manage audits, tax filings, and any disputes.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the company adapts to them effectively.

6. Procurement & Budgeting:

• Develop, implement, and monitor the annual budgeting process ensuring alignment with strategic goals and market conditions.

7. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

• Supervise cash flow management, ensuring the company has adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic investments.
• Develop and manage the company's treasury operations, including capital management, financing strategies, and investments.

8. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

• Design and implement a financial dashboard for real-time tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other critical business metrics.
• Regularly review financial data and operational reports, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Lead periodic reviews of financial performance with senior management to ensure alignment with business objectives

9. Stakeholder Relations:

• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and partners.
• Oversee investor relations, including the preparation of investor presentations, reports, and financial statements.

10. Team Management & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Accounts & finance team, ensuring alignment with departmental and company-wide goals.
• Implement training programs and succession planning for the accounts & finance team.
• Foster a collaborative, transparent, and performance-driven culture within the finance department.

11. Technology & Digital Transformation:

• Implement and optimize financial systems and technologies to streamline reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Spearhead the adoption of new financial technologies (FinTech) that enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure that all financial data is updated in software in real time.

12. Strategic Cost Management & Profitability:

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization across the organization without compromising on quality or strategic goals.
• Monitor and improve profitability through cost management, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies.

13. Market Analysis & Forecasting:

• Lead efforts to analyze market trends, economic conditions, and industry forecasts to inform financial planning and decision-making.
• Develop financial models to evaluate new opportunities and market dynamics in the real estate sector.
