Role Overview

As our Community Manager, you will be responsible for creating, growing, and nurturing a community of SocialBu users and social media professionals. You'll host engaging webinars and podcasts, manage online groups, and develop community-driven initiatives that foster learning, collaboration, and advocacy. Your work will directly contribute to stronger brand loyalty, higher user retention, and increased awareness of SocialBu.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Building & Management

  • Create and manage an online community space (e.g., Slack, Discord, or Facebook group) for SocialBu users and potential users.
  • Engage with community members regularly through discussions, Q&As, polls, and feedback sessions.
  • Monitor conversations, encourage participation, and maintain a positive, welcoming environment.

Podcasts & Webinars

  • Host regular podcasts and webinars focused on social media management, best practices, and SocialBu tips.
  • Invite guest speakers (marketers, influencers, industry experts) to provide valuable insights.
  • Promote episodes to maximize reach and engagement.

Content & Engagement

  • Develop community-driven content (case studies, success stories, tutorials) to highlight SocialBu's impact.
  • Share updates, product news, and educational content with the community.
  • Repurpose podcast and webinar content into blog posts, social media snippets, and email newsletters.

User Advocacy & Feedback

  • Act as the bridge between SocialBu users and our product team, gathering and sharing feedback to improve the platform.
  • Identify and nurture power users who can act as brand ambassadors.
  • Create programs (e.g., community challenges, recognition badges) that encourage participation and loyalty.

Growth & Metrics

  • Define and track key community engagement metrics (growth, active participation, event attendance).
  • Experiment with new community initiatives to drive sign-ups, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align community activities with broader growth goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in community management, social media, or digital marketing.
  • Strong communication and hosting skills (comfortable speaking on podcasts and webinars).
  • Experience managing online communities (Slack, Discord, Facebook groups, or similar).
  • Passion for social media marketing and understanding of trends, tools, and strategies.
  • Ability to create engaging content and spark meaningful conversations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years with SaaS or marketing
