About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Handling & Banking Compliance Specialist with strong knowledge of UK banking regulations, AML, KYC, FCA guidelines, and general financial compliance procedures. The ideal candidate will manage client accounts, ensure legal compliance, handle documentation, and support day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain client financial accounts with full accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with UK banking laws, FCA regulations, KYC, AML, and due-diligence requirements.
  • Review and verify financial documents and client information.
  • Prepare compliance reports and maintain secure records.
  • Liaise with banks, payment providers, and internal teams.
  • Identify and escalate potential compliance risks.
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in account handling, banking operations, or financial compliance.
  • Strong understanding of UK financial regulations.
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with confidentiality and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with UK banks or fintech companies.
  • Knowledge of data protection rules (GDPR).
  • Certification in compliance or risk management (desirable).
