Job Summary:

Walden Way & Co is seeking an experienced
Payroll Manager
with a solid understanding of UK payroll practices and proficiency in
Moneysoft Payroll Manager
. The candidate will manage the payroll processes efficiently and ensure full compliance with UK regulations. A minimum of 2 years of UK payroll experience is required.

Candidate will work from Lahore Office, further training will be provided if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process using Moneysoft Payroll Manager for UK-based employees.
  • PAYE registration and managing employee records
    (new starters).
  • Ensure
    Real Time Information (RTI)
    submissions are accurate and timely.
  • Handle multiple
    payroll frequencies
    (e.g., weekly, monthly).
  • Process
    timesheets, calculate national minimum wage, and pay rates
    .
  • Perform
    gross pay calculations
    and manage
    PAYE
    ,
    National Insurance (NI)
    Employer (Ers) and Employee (Eee) deductions.
  • Generate and distribute
    payslips
    and prepare
    net pay summaries
    .
  • Manage
    voluntary deductions
    and statutory payments such as
    holiday, sick, and maternity pay
    .
  • Communicate regularly with
    employers
    to resolve payroll-related inquiries.
  • Handle employee
    leavers
    , including issuing
    P45s
    .
  • Administer
    auto-enrolment
    and manage pension contributions.
  • Create payroll backups
    and
    restore data
    as needed.
  • Oversee
    year-end procedures
    , including issuing
    P60s
    .
  • Correct any
    payroll discrepancies
    or errors efficiently.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of
    2 years of UK payroll experience
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Moneysoft Payroll Manager
    .
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, RTI, and NI.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
