Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related field.

Experience:

1-2 year's of experience in communication, media, or advocacy.

Job Description:

  • Assist in drafting press releases, newsletters, reports, and blogs.
  • Develop engaging content for social media, website, and campaigns.
  • Document success stories, case studies, and impact reports.
  • Support multimedia content creation (videos, photography, and graphics).
  • Manage social media accounts and create regular posts.
  • Monitor engagement and analyze social media metrics.
  • Develop creative digital campaigns to enhance visibility.
  • Support website content updates and SEO strategies.
  • Maintain media contact lists and facilitate media engagement.
  • Assist in organizing press conferences, interviews, and media visits.
  • Track media coverage and compile reports.
  • Assist in developing advocacy toolkits, fact sheets, and promotional materials.
  • Assist in planning communication activities for events and workshops.
  • Coordinate logistics for media coverage and visibility at events.
  • Support donor and partner communication efforts.
  • Track and evaluate communication efforts using data and feedback.
  • Prepare periodic communication progress reports.
  • Maintain an organized database of communication materials.

Skills:

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • Knowledge of social media management and digital marketing.
  • Experience with graphic design, video editing, and content creation is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
