Job Summary:

A seasoned retired professional from a GM manufacturing facility with extensive leadership and operational experience. The role may involve part-time, contract, or consulting responsibilities focused on mentoring new leaders, advising on factory operations, safety protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Consulting:
  • Provide expert advice on production efficiency, lean manufacturing practices, and quality assurance based on decades of factory floor experience.
  • Mentorship and Training:

Mentor junior managers, supervisors, and engineers in factory best practices, leadership, and operational discipline.

  • Process Improvement Support:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and support implementation using Six Sigma or lean principles.Assist in reviewing safety procedures, training programs, and compliance measures to ensure alignment with GM's high standards.Offer strategic insights on long-term planning, workforce development, and facility upgrades based on institutional knowledge.Help preserve institutional knowledge by documenting best practices, operational wisdom, and factory-specific historical data.

  • Retired from a GM factory in a senior role (e.g., Plant Manager, Manufacturing Lead, Quality Head, or Maintenance Supervisor)
  • Deep knowledge of GM production systems, quality controls, and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150, Rs180,000.00 per month
