About the Role:

We are seeking a Design Application Engineer to join our team in Karachi. This role focuses on designing and developing applications for renewable energy systems, creating efficient system layouts, and optimizing energy solutions to meet client and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with solar design tools and a strong understanding of energy system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop renewable energy system applications, including solar PV solutions.

Create detailed system layouts and optimize designs for maximum efficiency and performance.

Conduct site surveys pre-installation to collect data and assess feasibility.

Prepare quotations for clients based on project requirements and site conditions.

Utilize PVsyst and Helioscope for solar system simulation, analysis, and performance prediction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, project management, and engineering.

Ensure all designs comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Provide technical support during project execution and assist in troubleshooting as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Proven experience in solar design and renewable energy projects.

Proficiency in PVsyst, Helioscope, and CAD tools for system design.

Strong understanding of energy system layouts, electrical diagrams, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and site engagement.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in preparing detailed quotations and project proposals.

Hands-on exposure to on-site surveys and data collection for renewable energy systems.

Knowledge of battery storage systems and hybrid energy solutions.
