We Are Hiring – Visual Merchandiser (Non-Food Department)

Company: The Big Buy Super Store

Location: Karachi

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser for our Non-Food Department in a large-format retail/supermarket setup. The ideal candidate will have a strong retail background and a keen eye for visual presentation, market trends, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute in-store displays for Non-Food categories (toys, crockery, stationery, home décor, watches, leather goods, jewellery, newborn items, etc.)
  • Maintain planograms and ensure compliance with company VM standards
  • Monitor seasonal & promotional setups to maximize visibility and sales impact
  • Stay updated with new VM trends and integrate them into store displays
  • Collaborate with department managers and the marketing team for theme-based arrangements
  • Ensure proper product labeling, price tags, and signage are in place
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure displays remain attractive and organized

Requirements:

  • Retail background is mandatory – preferably in supermarkets, hypermarkets, or large retail stores
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising (Non-Food category preferred)
  • Excellent sense of color coordination, lighting, and spatial arrangement
  • Knowledge of current market trends and customer behavior
  • Strong creativity and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
