About the Project:

The Rooster and The Boy
 is an independent coming-of-age feature film set in rural Pakistan, exploring themes of resilience, exploitation, and rebellion. The film will be shot on location around Islamabad and Mirpur with a mix of professional actors and new talent.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day production operations.
  • Manage and track the production budget.
  • Hire and coordinate key crew (DP, ADs, Casting Director, Production Designer, Sound).
  • Secure filming locations, permits, and local permissions.
  • Organize transport, catering, and accommodation logistics.
  • Liaise between the Executive Producer and crew to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure production stays on schedule and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or Line Producer on feature films, TV dramas, or commercials.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of local vendors, crew, and locations in Islamabad/Mirpur region.
  • Ability to manage budgets and contracts.
  • Bilingual (English & Urdu) preferred.

Compensation:

  • Competitive local market rate (milestone-based payments: pre-production, mid-shoot, and wrap).
  • Negotiable based on experience.
