We are hiring "Proposal Engineer" to lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for power and energy projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry standards, and company capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Going through various tender search mediums (e.g. PPRA, NTDC, K-Electric, and e-Newspapers, etc.) to find relevant business opportunities in the field of Grid Stations, Transmission Lines, Electrification, etc.
  • Liaison with Vendors for study scope of work, or negotiation purpose
  • Understand the client's requirement in detail and create a technical compliance sheet & BOQ of every item as per the Tender/Inquiry documents, Outline the specifications of the project after thoroughly reviewing inquiry/tender documents.
  • Site survey, Study tender, scope of work, and draft Prebid queries
  • Hunt, Prepare and submit Pre-Qualification and Expression of Interest Documents
  • Conduct internal meetings with Commercial, Logistics, Civil, Project, and Planning Department teams regarding Prebid queries, pertaining to relevant tenders,
  • Quantifying the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Transmission Lines, Grid Stations, Electrification, and other Projects, and coordinating with the project department in this regard
  • Prepare and Float Request for Quotations (RFQ) to relevant vendors for tender purpose
  • Vendor Hunting for items for RFQ and procurement purposes
  • Prepare cost comparison report and final project cost estimation
  • Collaborating with client representatives and engineers for specific tenders.
  • Prepare essential documentation for techno-commercial bid
  • After the award of projects monitoring and controlling the strategic procurement process for projects (Foreign Currency Component Only)
  • Maintaining vendor contact list, customer list, Tender log status, and project reference list, year-wise record keeping of all offers and tenders.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a well-reputed University.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 year of work experience in the same field
  • Certification: PEC Certified
