About the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist with a proven track record in generating leads, closing deals, and building long-term client relationships through Upwork and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate should be skilled in online bidding, client communication, and proposal writing, with a deep understanding of IT services and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify, bid, and win projects on Upwork by creating compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Actively connect, engage, and convert leads on LinkedIn through direct outreach and relationship-building.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, target industries, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain and grow a sales pipeline through consistent follow-ups and lead nurturing.
  • Collaborate with the technical and design teams to prepare accurate project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Negotiate terms, close deals, and ensure smooth project handover to the operations team.
  • Track, analyze, and report performance metrics to improve success rates.

Sills and Qualification Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Upwork bidding and LinkedIn lead generation for IT services.
  • Strong understanding of software development, web & app design, and digital marketing services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required).
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and exceed targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software is a plus.
  • Creative proposal writing.
  • Strong networking abilities and a proactive mindset.
