We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to support our sales operations across Punjab. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring sales strategies to achieve company targets in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing regional sales plans to meet volume and revenue targets.
  • Support the Regional Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual sales objectives.
  • Supervise and guide the sales team to ensure effective market coverage and brand visibility.
  • Monitor distributor and retail performance, ensuring timely stock availability and replenishment.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to recommend growth strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, wholesalers, and distribution partners.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve distributor-related issues.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and supply chain teams for promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and forecasts.
  • Train and motivate sales representatives to enhance productivity and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, distribution, or territory management (Punjab region experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of trade marketing, distribution management, and retail dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Punjab.
