Role Overview
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, increasing showroom footfall, and contributing to revenue growth. This role requires strong communication skills, market awareness, strategic thinking, and a passion for the furniture and lifestyle industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & Sales Development
- Identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and market segments.
- Develop strategies to drive showroom sales and expand customer base.
- Meet with corporate clients, designers, architects, and developers to promote Enza Home products.
- Support in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and business partners.
- Conduct follow-ups on inquiries, quotations, and ongoing leads.
- Ensure excellent customer service and deliver a premium Enza Home experience.
Marketing & Outreach Activities
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and showroom events.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
- Conduct competitor analysis and share insights on market trends.
Showroom Support
- Work closely with the sales team to improve customer engagement.
- Provide product information, design guidance, and sales support when needed.
- Ensure product knowledge is updated regularly for effective sales conversations.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, clients, and sales activities.
- Collaborate with management to align strategies with company goals.
Skills & QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management (furniture or interior industry preferred, but not mandatory).
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and CRM tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to prepare proposals, presentations, and market reports.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.
- Confident, proactive, and target-oriented mindset.
