Role Overview:

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead our Product engineering team responsible for building, deploying, and scaling AI/ML-powered SaaS products. You will function independently and in close collaboration with product squads, This role involves end-to-end ownership of engineering/products deliverables, alignment with product frameworks, and early risk identification to ensure smooth, strategic execution from planning through deployment.

This role requires strong technical leadership, deep expertise in modern deployment pipelines, and a strong background in Python and AI/ML, contributing directly to the company's product and technology strategy. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software and ML engineers, driving delivery and technical excellence.
  • Lead decision-making and architectural development, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Provide strategic project guidance, address technical counterarguments, and support engineering teams in aligning with business goals.
  • Ensure context clarity and help define priorities to drive focused execution.
  • Oversee people management, enforce SLAs, and ensure high standards of service and product performance.
  • Drive workflow automation initiatives and lead efforts in activity planning and prioritization to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product squads to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions.
  • Champion best practices in engineering, including code quality, testing, observability, and security.
  • Translate product requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of AI/ML features in a SaaS product environment.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Python

and experience with modern back-end frameworks and services.
- Proven experience leading
deployment pipelines

and managing
DevOps workflows

independently.
- Hands-on experience with
AI/ML development

, including working with ML models, data pipelines, and inference systems.
- Prior experience working in
AI/ML-focused organizations

is required.
- Preferred: Experience delivering
AI/ML-based products

within
enterprise or SaaS

environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to operate autonomously in cross-functional squads.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
