About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled 
Senior Backend Lead
 to drive the architecture, development, and performance of our backend systems. You will lead a team of backend engineers, ensure scalable and maintainable solutions, and work closely with product and frontend teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the backend engineering team, mentoring and guiding developers on best practices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs.
  • Architect system components to handle high concurrency, availability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to define technical requirements and solutions.
  • Implement and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and testing strategies.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure quality, performance, and security benchmarks are met.
  • Identify technical debt, propose improvements, and implement optimizations.
  • Stay updated with the latest backend technologies, tools, and frameworks, and integrate them where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of backend development experience with strong programming skills (e.g., , Java, Python, or Go).
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing a backend engineering team.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and message queues.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex systems efficiently.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with frontend integration (React, Angular, or Vue) and DevOps workflows.
