We are seeking a results-driven Performance Marketing & ASO Specialist to join our team and drive the growth of our Android mobile games. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing visibility, conversions, downloads, and overall ROI through a combination of App Store Optimization (ASO) and performance marketing campaigns.
This role requires hands-on experience with Google Play Console, a strong understanding of Play Store policies & violations, and a proven ability to manage and optimize both organic and paid acquisition channels.
Key Responsibilities:ASO & Play Store Management
- Develop and implement ASO strategies for Android games to improve rankings, visibility, and downloads.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and optimize titles, descriptions, tags, and other metadata.
- Perform A/B testing on store creatives (icons, screenshots, feature graphics, and videos) to maximize conversion.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Google Play Store policies; identify and resolve policy violations proactively.
- Manage game listings for new releases and updates, ensuring best practices are applied.
Performance Marketing - Plan, execute, and optimize user acquisition campaigns across multiple channels
- Track and analyze campaign performance, retention, ROAS, and CPI to achieve growth targets.
- Work closely with the creative team to produce ad creatives that drive engagement and conversions.
- Continuously A/B test campaigns, targeting, and creatives to improve performance.
Analytics & Reporting - Monitor keyword rankings, competitor positioning, and user feedback to refine strategies.
Use tools equivalent to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
Provide actionable insights and performance reports to stakeholders.
Collaboration & Growth- Work cross-functionally with product, development, and marketing teams to align ASO and performance marketing strategies with overall business goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithms, policies, and emerging user acquisition strategies in the gaming industry.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and benchmarks.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in ASO, preferably within the gaming industry on Android.
- Strong understanding of Google Play Store algorithms, ranking signals, and user behavior in the gaming space.
- Familiarity with ASO tools such as Sensor Tower, AppTweak, Mobile Action, or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics and tools like Google Analytics, Firebase, or App Annie.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Background in mobile gaming (a strong plus).
