We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant IT Officer with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, systems maintenance, and network administration. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting end users across departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining servers, storage systems, and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Monitor and maintain internal networks, including troubleshooting connectivity issues and ensuring uptime.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware as required.
  • Manage user accounts, access control, and permissions via Active Directory or similar systems.
  • Maintain backup schedules, recovery procedures, and security protocols.
  • Assist in planning and implementing IT projects, including system upgrades and rollouts.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, data security practices, and licensing agreements.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior IT staff and end-users.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for procurement and technical support.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
