About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Specialist to manage the company's bidding process on Upwork. The role requires researching relevant projects, submitting customized proposals, and assisting in client acquisition to help the company win freelance projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search and identify relevant projects on Upwork aligned with company services.
  • Prepare and submit professional, customized proposals that clearly communicate the company's value.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather project details, timelines, and pricing for proposals.
  • Track submitted proposals, responses, and feedback to improve success rates.
  • Maintain and update Upwork profile, portfolio, and team credentials.
  • Assist in initial client communication and project clarification when required.
  • Report daily/weekly bidding activity and success metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bidding on Upwork or similar freelance platforms.
  • Excellent written English with strong proposal-writing skills.
  • Good understanding of digital services (web development, design, marketing, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Upwork policies, job categories, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales or business development in a digital agency environment.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies for freelance projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
