Role focus:
This Senior Sales Associate role brings a lot, from lead generation, prospecting, client engagement to market research within a fast-paced technology company. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, highly organized, goal-oriented and comfortable engaging with diverse set of business client stakeholders in a global setting, with a solution-oriented mindset.
Role overview:
As a Senior Sales Associate, you will key in managing to support company's sales, business development, lead nurturing, account management, relationship building strategy by identifying new opportunities, engaging potential clients, nurturing B2B accounts, meeting designated sales/revenue targets and contributing to the end-to-end business development process.
You will collaborate closely with the leadership and marketing teams to build client relationships, generate & nurture leads, and close deals while supporting end to end sales operations & meeting your designated targets.
This role combines excellent skills in communication, presentation, research, relationship-building, prospecting, account management to deliver tangible business growth goals and targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Industry research: Conduct extensive market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, opportunities and analyze competitive landscape.
- Lead generation and nurturing: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, emailing etc.
- Client/Account engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding client needs, pain points, and business objectives to recommend the right solutions.
- Sales operations management: Lead Sales operations such as process improvement, implementation of SOPs, actively tracking targets and goals. This will also include leading the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Achieving Sales and revenue targets: Achieve designated sales and revenue targets while making your sales funnel stronger and predictable.
- Tailoring extraordinary pitches: Help in developing excellent pitches and proposals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership and marketing teams to develop lead generation strategies and promotional activities. This role will be working frequently with technical stakeholders as well to coordinate Pre and Post sales activities.
- Reporting: Track and reporting on sales performance metrics, KPIs, providing insights to inform and improve business development strategies.
- Managing Sales & Marketing team: Mentoring, Inspiring and leading a small Sales and Marketing team.
- Updating CRM: Update CRM /Sales system regularly to keep accurate records of interactions, leads and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Educational background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A master's degree is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
Technical skills:
- Excellent level of familiarity with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 Suite
- Familiarity with CRM software.
Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
- HubSpot Sales Software Certification
- Google Digital Marketing and E-commerce Certification
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator Certification
- Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP)
- Salesforce Sales Development Representative (SDR) Certificate
- Business Development and B2B Sales for Startups
Additional tools:
Ideally good level of familiarity with a range of tools used in sales and business development is preferred, including:
- CRM platforms: Dynamic365 CRM, HubSpot CRM, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, Pipedrive etc
- Communication tools: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, etc
- Task management: Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Notion, etc
- Email and marketing tools: Mailchimp, Mailtrack, etc
- Productivity suites: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word
- Scheduling tools: Calendly
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work in a 3:00 pm - 11:59 pm shift (local time).
Experience and soft skills:
- Number of years of experience: At least years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management or a related field. (experience of B2B Sales and Technology Solutions industry is a big plus)
- Passion & Zeal for Sales: We are looking for confident and dynamic profiles who are really passionate about Sales and Business development in a global setting.
- Communication & Presentation skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, Impressive presentation skills, Capability to engage professionally with senior stakeholders representing Empiric Technology to clients and internal/external teams such as channel partners.

- Interpersonal skills: Ability to develop and manage relationships with clients and partners.

- Confidence: A confident personality with the ability to present ideas and negotiate effectively.
