Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, along with proficiency in QuickBooks. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial records: Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and efficiently. This includes entering data into accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and verifying the accuracy of financial documents.

Assist with financial reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries by gathering and analyzing data. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.

Reconcile accounts: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Accounts payable and receivable: Process invoices, payments, and collections. Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and provide support for financial forecasting activities.

Support audits: Prepare and provide documentation and support during internal and external audits. Assist in addressing audit findings and implementing appropriate corrective actions.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations and make recommendations for process improvements as necessary.

Maintain records and files: Organize and maintain financial records and documents in a systematic manner. Ensure proper record retention and confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, operations, and management, to gather information, address queries, and support financial decision-making processes.

Required Skills and Abilities:

2-4 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping with International Clients

Strong knowledge and experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential financial information.

Qualifications:

B.com, BBA, MBA & ICMA, ACCA (Part Qualified)

Experience:

2-4 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

Software experience required Quick books (Online), App Folio (If possible) XERO, EXCEL (Shortcuts, pivot, sum, ifs, Lookups).

1-3 years of working experience preferably from BPO Industry/ Audit Firm

Job Timings: 9 PM to 6 AM (Monday to Friday)

Job Type: Full-time
