We are seeking a front-end web developer to join our team. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for the user interface of our website. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Constructing design solutions with our team of designers & marketers with a focus on improving website usability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive knowledge of both Shopify & Shopify Plus platforms.
  • Experience working with a mobile-first approach.
  • Experience with popular Shopify apps & third-party integrations.
  • Fluency in common web development languages, including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery frameworks (MongoDB, Express, React, and ).
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Experience developing front-end web applications that perform well on all devices using modern languages & frameworks.
  • Experience with Shopify liquid and scripts.
  • Experience building Shopify apps or custom applications.
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to explain work to leadership & designers.
  • BONUS: Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, or Figma.

Big advantage if you have experience in the following:

  • Shopify theme development experience (Theme Kit / Slate / Slater / etc); comfort developing within Shopify utilizing Liquid, HTML, SCSS and jQuery.
  • Able to build and develop APIs that integrate platforms with backend systems.
  • Develop and apply custom features/ functions as required.
  • Can develop custom apps when needed and use third-party APIs.
