About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Air Freight Pricing & Operations Officer
to manage pricing, carrier negotiations, and execution of import/export air freight operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, competitive rates, and seamless coordination with airlines, agents, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate rates & space with airlines, GSAs & consolidators
  • Prepare competitive quotations for clients & overseas partners
  • Manage air export/import operations from booking to final delivery
  • Prepare & verify AWB, shipping docs, manifests & billing
  • Monitor shipments & provide proactive tracking updates
  • Ensure compliance with IATA, customs & aviation regulations
  • Coordinate with sales, finance, overseas agents and customers
  • Maintain profitability, timely invoicing & reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or Aviation
  • 3–5 years experience in Air Freight Operations & Pricing (IATA firm)
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWB, CASS, Cargo-IMP codes & global air cargo processes
  • Experience with CargoWise/GLS or similar freight systems
