Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a GD Operator based in Karachi. The GD Operator will be responsible for managing and processing goods declaration documents for imports and exports, coordinating with customs authorities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Daily tasks include data entry, document verification, and liaising with clients to ensure smooth customs clearance. The role also involves maintaining accurate records and handling any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the customs process.

Qualifications

  • Experience with GD operations and customs documentation
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
  • Experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or a related field are beneficial
