Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, hardware, accessories, and other essential goods required for furniture production and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Purchasing:

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international vendors for quality materials at competitive prices
  • Raise and manage purchase orders based on production and inventory requirements
  • Ensure timely procurement to avoid delays in manufacturing and delivery
  • Track order status and follow up with suppliers for on-time deliveries

Inventory & Material Management:

  • Coordinate with store and production teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels
  • Maintain updated records of purchased materials, costings, delivery schedules, and supplier information
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed

Vendor Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers as per project and production needs

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards
  • Maintain proper documentation for all purchases and agreements
  • Assist in audits, budgeting, and procurement reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing (preferably in furniture or manufacturing)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP software
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple procurement orders simultaneously

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with furniture components, raw materials, and vendor networks
  • Experience in cost control and budgeting
  • Knowledge of import procedures and documentation (for international procurement)
