Role Description

We're looking for a
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
to join us full-time on-site in Karachi. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll shape our technology vision, lead product development, and build the systems that power our growth. You'll work closely with the founder and leadership team to develop scalable architecture, drive execution, and ensure our technology supports our long-term strategy.

The ideal candidate enjoys building from scratch, thrives in fast-moving environments, and sees this as a long-term partnership in a company with significant growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Cort Technologies's technology roadmap and product strategy
  • Build and manage the engineering team; provide technical direction and mentorship
  • Architect and oversee scalable, secure, and efficient systems
  • Drive end-to-end product development with rapid iteration and strong execution
  • Implement IT and digital transformation strategies aligned with business goals
  • Own technical project management: timelines, delivery, and resource planning
  • Collaborate directly with the founder and leadership to support company-wide objectives

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of hands-on software development experience
  • Proven experience leading engineering or product teams
  • Strong foundation in system architecture, product development, and IT strategy
  • Capable of building scalable and reliable tech solutions from the ground up
  • Solid project management skills and ability to execute with speed
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Passion for startups, ownership mindset, and willingness to grow with the company
