We are seeking a strategic and driven
Head of B2B Business Development
to lead our commercial expansion in the waste management and recycling sector. This senior-level role will be responsible for driving revenue growth through institutional partnerships, corporate waste service contracts, and strategic supplier engagement. The role requires close coordination with the operations and logistics teams to ensure successful service delivery, while maintaining a commercial focus. has a clear progression path into the
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
position as the company scales and expands its commercial footprint.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Own and lead the overall B2B sales strategy for waste management services across commercial, residential, and industrial segments.
- Build and manage a high-performing business development team, starting with the Assistant Commercial Manager.
- Secure long-term contracts with corporate clients, real estate developers, housing societies, institutions, and multi-location businesses.
- Establish, grow, and manage partnerships with recyclers, building management firms, collection agents, scrap dealers, and distribution networks.
- Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, service-level agreements, and material procurement deals.
- Create customised proposals, waste audit packages, and traceability offerings to align with client sustainability goals.
- Represent the company in meetings with top-tier stakeholders, including corporate sustainability teams, local government, and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, finance, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure efficient service delivery and strong brand positioning.
- Drive sales forecasting, revenue planning, and reporting for B2B channels.
- Continuously evaluate market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the company and prepare for a transition into the Chief Commercial Officer role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Management, Supply Chain, or a relevant field.
- Minimum
5–7 years of experience
in commercial roles within the
waste management, recycling, FMCG, or industrial services sector
, with at least
2 years in a leadership role
. - Proven track record of winning and managing high-value B2B contracts, ideally in the sustainability, waste, or recycling sector.
- Strong network within corporate procurement, housing societies, real estate developers, and recycling vendors in Pakistan, with a proven ability to build relationships and convert them into long-term commercial contracts procurement, housing societies, real estate developers, and recycling vendors in Pakistan.
- Advanced commercial negotiation skills and experience with pricing strategies and contract structuring.
- Strong team leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to work closely with operations, logistics, and delivery teams.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to build scalable commercial processes, pursue new markets, and drive execution at pace.
- Willingness to travel locally for client and partner engagement.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary (post funding round)
- Commission on sales against quarterly targets
- Up to 10% equity participation, subject to performance and board approval
