Business Development Officer

Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads, gather information about prospects, and determine their needs.
Lead Qualification: Evaluate and qualify inbound and outbound leads using various criteria (company size, industry, decision-makers, etc.).
Outreach Campaigns: Develop and execute email, phone, and social media outreach campaigns to generate leads.
CRM Management: Maintain and update lead information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate data tracking.
Relationship Building: Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and communicate our value proposition.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
Performance Tracking: Monitor lead generation metrics, including conversion rates and campaign performance, and report on results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in lead generation, sales development, or a similar role.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proficient in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent research, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in B2B sales or marketing.
Familiarity with lead generation tools and techniques (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation tools, etc.).
Understanding of sales funnel and conversion optimization strategies.
