Who we are:About the Role:

What You'll Do:
  • Prospect and win new business for Motive through developing strong executive relationships within key Public Sector entities, signing on new business and establishing new lines of revenue for the company.
  • Survey prospects to understand pain points and procurement processes within their department so you can align those business needs with the Motive solution.
  • Proactively engage with potential customers through outbound channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Conduct consultative conversations to understand prospects' needs, challenges, and business goals.
  • Clearly articulate the value of our products and services, tailoring your messaging to address specific pain points.
  • Qualify leads using defined criteria and pass them to the sales team for further development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all outreach efforts, interactions, and lead qualifications in Salesforce.
  • Continuously refine your approach by staying informed about industry trends, competitive positioning, and product updates.
  • Meet and exceed weekly activity metrics and monthly lead qualification quotas.
What We're Looking For:
  • 1+ year of experience in Outbound sales preferrably in Public Sector Sales.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must, with the ability to engage and build rapport with international audiences.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and a desire to develop a career in sales, with a focus on lead qualification and customer engagement.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities may shift, and the ability to adapt quickly is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage and prioritize a high volume of leads.
  • Experience using SalesForce, SalesLoft, or Genesys will be nice to have.
  • Experience in engaging with international audiences will be nice to have.
  • Be able to work 6am-3pm Pacific time
