Company Description

Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC) is the largest engineering and manufacturing enterprise in Pakistan, serving the country for over four decades as a public sector organization. HMC has significantly contributed to the technological advancement of the nation by acquiring and assimilating the design and manufacturing techniques needed to produce capital engineering goods. The company operates two main production facilities: Mechanical Works and Foundry & Forge Works. With a range of facilities including Design & Engineering, Fabrication, and Quality Assurance, HMC conforms to international standards and has successfully exported products to Far East, Africa, and the Sub-Continent regions.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lahore District for a Junior IT Executive. The Junior IT Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, providing technical support to staff, monitoring network performance, and ensuring data security. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining inventory of IT assets, and implementing IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • IT infrastructure management and network monitoring skills
  • Technical support and troubleshooting skills
  • Data security and IT asset management skills
  • Knowledge of implementing IT policies and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Prior experience in an IT role is a plus
