Job Title: Patient Care Advocate -DME

Location: Main Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi

Shift Timings: 07:00 PM to 04:00 AM PST

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Employment Type: Full Time and Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage order intake and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Handle patient supplies and address related inquiries or issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve patient concerns.
  • Conduct patient outreach calls, including onboarding, wellness checks, birthday greetings, introductory calls, and other calls.
  • Perform eligibility checks and take necessary follow-up actions as required.
  • Conduct patient satisfaction surveys
  • Coordinate with doctor offices and insurance companies to troubleshoot ongoing orders.
  • Obtain prior authorization requests (PAR) from insurance providers.
  • Verify insurance coverage and secure necessary authorizations for patient services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records while meeting daily productivity targets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in DME/Medical Supplies for the U.S. healthcare market.
  • Hands-on experience with widely used EHR/CRM systems (a proficiency test will be required).
  • Strong understanding of HCPCS and ICD-10 coding, as well as Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
  • Strong computer and system-handling skills; comfortable with text-heavy system usage.
  • Basic product knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
  • Good understanding of U.S. insurance plans and policies, particularly in the DMV region (DC, Maryland, Virginia).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
