Role Description Techwaresoft is hiring a Mid-Level Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our remote team. This role focuses primarily on manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure quality, usability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 2–4 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms Validate fixes and ensure issue resolution with development teams Perform API and database-level validation where required Contribute to QA documentation and process improvements

Must Have Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and practices Experience testing web and mobile applications Ability to identify, report, and track software defects Familiarity with tools like Postman (for API testing) and SQL (for data validation) Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Nice to have Basic understanding of automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) Familiarity with performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter) Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
