Vehicle Tracking Pvt. Ltd. – Software Developer

Develops and maintains GPS-based vehicle tracking and fleet management software, ensuring real-time location monitoring, data analytics, and secure integration with client systems to improve operational efficiency and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the lead developer to design, implement, & maintain Java-based microservices backend modules.
  • Build and consume REST APIs securely using Spring Boot (OAuth2, SSL).
  • Integration with Oracle 11g/19c databases using JDBC or Spring Data.
  • Design and develop responsive web interfaces using Angular or React.
  • Build and optimise schedulers using Scheduled Executor Service and thread pools for background processing.
  • Work on Kafka integration for data ingestion with multi-threading.
  • Maintain deployment-ready code on Glassfish Server.
  • Collaborate on code reviews, documentation, and version control (Git).

Requirements:


• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot.


• Strong experience working with Oracle databases and writing complex PL/SQL queries.


• Good knowledge of Glassfish server deployment and configuration.


• Experience in RESTful API development and integration.


• 2+ years of experience with Angular (10+) and/or React (17+).


• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap.


• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling dynamic data.


• Familiarity with Kafka (producer/consumer) implementation is a plus.


• Experience with XML processing in Java.


• Comfortable with multi-threaded service development.


• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.


• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
