ABOUT THE ROLE
The Management Accountant - Financial Reporting & AR Recovery will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely preparation and presentation of management financial reports. This position is responsible for conducting account reconciliations, and preparing AR reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with multi-currency transactions, and a deep understanding of financial reporting requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & AR Recovery
Prepare, review, and present financial statements, management reports, and other financial disclosures.
Develop and maintain robust models for monitoring and recovering accounts receivable, including from courier partners and payment gateways.
Analyze the AR cycle, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
General Ledger & Account Reconciliation
Manage the general ledger to ensure all entries are accurate, complete, and in line with accounting standards.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings and account reconciliations.
Monitor and reconcile accounts related to customer advances, COD transactions, and receivables from various payment gateways.
Compliance & Audit Support
Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
Address audit requirements by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and analysis.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Act as a bridge between the accounting team and other departments, ensuring the timely and accurate flow of financial data.
Coordinate with IT and other teams to optimize financial systems and tools.
Handle and resolve queries related to financial reports and discrepancies effectively.
Systems & Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and accounting functions.
Implement best practices to boost accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of reports. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance reporting processes.

Requirements
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA) is preferred.
 Article-ship in a well-known firm is a must.
Experience & Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within e-commerce or retail sectors.
Strong understanding of general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and multi-currency accounting.
Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
