Experience Required: 1–3 years in sales (experience in solar/renewable energy preferred)
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing solar energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar power solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. You will play a key role in educating customers about the benefits of solar energy, assessing their energy needs, and providing tailored solutions.
The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability, has strong communication and negotiation skills, and thrives in a target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through field visits, cold calls, online leads, and referrals
- Conduct site assessments to understand customer energy needs and provide suitable solar solutions
- Present and explain company products and services to prospective clients
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and contracts
- Close sales and ensure timely payment collections
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Collaborate with the technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and competitor offerings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Proven sales experience (solar or renewable energy industry is an advantage)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic technical knowledge of solar systems is a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed
