We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  1. Service requests from internal HSBC customers for:
    • New data onboarding (UF, HEC, DB Connect, Heavy Forwarder) or update of existing data sources.
    • New or updated apps in Splunk to support internal customer requirements, including dashboard design work.
  2. Manage engagement with internal HSBC customers from request initiation through to delivery or closure of the request.
  3. Own the design, build, and implementation of internal customer requests, considering testing and implementation planning to ensure successful delivery.
  4. Create and maintain documentation on changes to the Splunk environment.
  5. Support the Splunk platform and internal users based on prioritization.
  6. Report on and adhere to quality and compliance standards for work delivery and system operation.
  7. Explain Splunk concepts and best practices to new users.
  8. Identify opportunities for process or product improvement.
  9. Analyze the Splunk environment to identify areas of poor or misused services.
  10. Ensure work aligns with team governance and compliance obligations.
