Job Summary:

The Social Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive traffic, and engage with our target audience. You will create high-quality content, manage social media campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and stay updated with the latest trends. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of various social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think creatively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with business goals and enhance brand visibility across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.
  2. Content Creation: Develop engaging, creative, and visually appealing content (posts, videos, graphics, stories, etc.) tailored for each platform to attract and engage the target audience.
  3. Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) to meet marketing objectives such as lead generation, brand awareness, and sales conversions.
  4. Community Management: Monitor and engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries professionally, and foster community interaction.
  5. Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics to assess performance and suggest improvements.
  6. Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve social media efforts.
  7. Social Listening: Use social listening tools to monitor online conversations about the brand, competitors, and industry, and use insights to adjust strategies.
  8. Crisis Management: Address and resolve potential issues or negative feedback on social media promptly to protect the brand's reputation.

Minimum Requirements & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years managing social media platforms for a brand or company.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Content Tools: Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software.
  • Paid Advertising: Proficiency with Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc., and budget optimization.
  • Analytics Skills: Strong understanding of social media KPIs and tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social.
  • Creativity: Ability to generate innovative campaign ideas.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with a strong brand voice.
  • Project Management: Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in content creation and proofreading.
  • SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO and social media's role in traffic and search rankings.
  • A/B Testing Experience: Experience in testing and optimizing social media content.
