As we scale our impact, we are seeking a visionary technology leader to join us as the Head of Data + AI Platform & Product Solutions. This role is central to driving our strategic technology agenda, leading the development of future-ready platforms, and ensuring we remain at the forefront of AI innovation.

This position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide technology decisions, foster a culture of data-driven thinking, and shape how advanced AI and data capabilities are embedded into both internal operations and client-facing solutions.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for both setting the strategic direction and overseeing execution of Traxccel solutions. You'll work directly with the CEO and collaborate across business units to align technology investments with organizational objectives.

a. Solutions Strategy & Vision:

  • Define and evolve the Traxccel's solutions (both toolkits and standalone offerings) roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, industry trends (GenAI, and others), and competitive landscape.
  • Champion innovation to drive growth, efficiency, and differentiation with our solutions.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to define a solutions roadmap.

b. Solutions Oversight:

  • Lead design and evolution of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
  • Oversee selection and integration of platforms, tools, and infrastructure for our solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with modern engineering practices and architectural standards.

c. Product & Engineering Leadership:

Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Guide product and engineering teams on the software development lifecycle, quality assurance, and DevOps practices.

  • Drive agility, experimentation, and continuous improvement across engineering teams.
  • Participate in technical discussions with the Traxccel team and/or clients during sales activities.
  • Guide client delivery teams on technical and architectural questions and issues.

d. Innovation & Technology Integration:

Own the tech strategy across Data, AI, and Platform Services. Integrate emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, Data Lakehouse, Cloud-native) into our solutions.

  • Build and lead a high-performing product and engineering team.
  • Manage a team of data experts providing leadership and mentorship. Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability.

f. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as a bridge between leadership, product, and engineering teams.
  • Proactively communicate solutions, vision, and progress to internal stakeholders.

g. Performance & Delivery:

Establish KPIs and reporting structures to measure success, impact, and continuous improvement of solution delivery.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Data, AI/ML, and technology leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing data and AI strategies that drive business value.
  • Expertise in modern data architectures, AI/ML tools, and cloud-native development.
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure), along with DevOps, MLOps, and automation practices.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, data protection regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing technical teams, with a focus on mentoring and talent development.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing C-suite and senior decision-makers.
  • Adept at managing complex projects across cross-functional teams, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments preferred, where agility and innovation are key.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree (required) — in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree (preferred) — in Business Administration (MBA), Computer Science, or Engineering Management, especially in larger enterprises.

Technical Expertise:

15+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, systems architecture, infrastructure, or product development. Deep expertise in:

  • Cybersecurity, data architecture, and system scalability.
  • Emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, etc.), where relevant.

Leadership & Management Experience:

  • Proven experience leading technology teams, including engineering, product, and IT functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute technology roadmaps and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and technology investments.

Strategic & Business Acumen:

  • Strong understanding of business models, go-to-market strategies, and value creation through technology.
  • Experience collaborating with C-suite executives and participating in strategic planning and M&A decisions.

Communication & Influence:

  • Ability to translate technical vision into business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presence and board-level communication skills.

Industry-Specific Knowledge (preferred):

Familiarity with domain-specific technologies, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA for healthcare, OSDU for oil & gas, etc.).
