IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

The purpose of this position is to ensure the timely and accurate closing of accounts in line with agreed timelines, while maintaining comprehensive financial statement schedules to support senior management's decision-making. The role is also responsible for proactively addressing and resolving external audit observations and queries to ensure compliance and transparency. Additionally, the position supports various accounting processes and undertakes any other tasks assigned by management to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  • Execute all closing activities within the timelines set by management.
  • Prepare GR/IR and vendor liability schedules; investigate and discuss unusual variances with relevant teams.
  • Prepare and reconcile related party schedules with group companies on a monthly basis.
  • Compile rental income schedules for PTML tenants, review general and administrative expenses, and analyze variances; ensure proper accounting of prepayments.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements for quarterly and annual audits; coordinate with external auditors to address and resolve audit queries.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification:

  • ACCA/CA Finalist/CAF Qualified
  • Degree from HEC recognized university (MBA, BS Accounting & Finance)
