Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager – Sales to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and leading our presence at industry expos and events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the packaging industry and possess the leadership skills necessary to guide a team towards achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients to introduce Universal Packages' offerings, aiming to convert prospects into long-term business relationships.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a sales team, especially during industry expos and events, ensuring optimal performance and representation of the company.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales approaches.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and business development activities for senior management.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or business development within the packaging industry.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading sales teams and coordinating participation in industry events.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings, expos, and industry events as required.
