Job Specification

SEO Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Utilize Google Analytics and webmaster tools to track progress.
  2. Create search strategies timelines, calendars, and goals.
  3. Collaborate with social media team to align SEO strategies.
  4. Source keywords for blogs, press releases, social status updates, and campaign needs.
  5. Work with marketing team to implement and deploy strategy plans.
  6. Present SEO effective headlines, body copy, CTAs, and tagging system.
  7. Track site performance and develop new processes to improve.
  8. Encourage and build inbound organic search traffic.
  9. Set up pay-per-click campaigns, ads, and other revenue performers.
  10. Compile and present web analytics data and unique hits to team members and senior leadership to make recommendations and improvements.
  11. Create engaging content with optimal SEO keywords and phrases.

SEO Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's (BA or BS) in business, marketing, or related field; master's preferred.
  2. Two years previous experience in SEO, marketing, or related field.
  3. In-depth understanding of Google Analytics and other SEO services, online tracking tools, webmaster tools, back-end SEO, and metadata.
  4. Experience in cultivating SEO keywords and phrases to drive web traffic.
