Overview

HBL Microfinance Bank Ltd (HBL MfB) was established in 2002 and is licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan. Originating from the Aga Khan Rural Support Program, HBL MfB aims to combat poverty and improve the socio-economic well-being of society by providing financial opportunities to underserved households. Over the years, the bank has grown from a pioneering microfinance institution to a market leader in Pakistan, helping clients build their entrepreneurial base and secure their future.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager located in Hyderabad. The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the bank, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing team performance, implementing operational policies, improving process efficiencies, and coordinating with other departments to support business goals. Additionally, the Operations Manager will play a key role in resource management, risk management, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the bank to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage team performance, provide leadership, and drive achievement of operational goals.
  • Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support business goals and customer service standards.
  • Contribute to resource planning and management, including staffing and workload balancing.
  • Support risk management activities and maintain internal controls.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure quality service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Operational Management, Process Improvement, and Resource Management skills
  • Experience in Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
  • Team Leadership and Performance Management skills
  • Client Relationship Management and Customer Service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the financial or banking sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
