Role Overview
We're looking for a sharp, data-driven and commercially minded Manager Segments & Analytics to join our high-impact Commercial team. This role will be instrumental in shaping our pricing strategy, defining customer segments, and developing business cases for new product launches. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment and will work closely with cross-functional teams including Growth, Marketing, Product, and Customer Happiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing & Revenue Strategy
- Design, evaluate and optimize pricing for new and existing products.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and identify monetization opportunities.
- Work on revenue simulations and profitability analysis.
- Build and maintain customer segments to enable targeted propositions.
- Deep dive into usage trends, retention patterns, and behavioral cohorts.
- Recommend segment-specific strategies to drive ARPU and LTV.
- Product Launch & Business Case Development
- Create data-backed business cases for new initiatives and feature rollouts.
- Evaluate commercial feasibility and forecast potential ROI.
- Support go-to-market planning with data and insights.
- Develop and automate dashboards using SQL and Looker to monitor KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Data & BI teams to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a strategic partner to Growth, Tech, and Customer teams to align on priorities.
- Support ad-hoc analysis, special projects, and executive reporting as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in analytics, pricing, or commercial roles (preferably in Telco, Tech, or Fintech sectors).
- Strong proficiency in SQL , Excel , and Looker (or similar BI tools).
- Demonstrated ability to build and evaluate business cases and commercial models.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation and product lifecycle economics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a digital product or startup environment.
- Exposure to telco-specific KPIs and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with tools like BigQuery, Python/R for deeper analysis (optional but a plus).
