Services within Mastercard are responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services leveraging expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

Mastercard Advisors is a key differentiator, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers achieve their objectives. Focused on scalable big ideas in a fast-paced environment, we handle end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Our services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, and data-driven analytics platforms.

As a sales team member, you will build excitement and generate demand for our services, partnering with solutions experts to achieve success. You will contribute to customer success stories and reinforce Mastercard's position as a payments services leader.

Role

The Services Business Development Manager will drive growth in the Pakistan and Afghanistan cluster by developing new payment services business and creating strong partnerships with financial institutions, retailers, fintechs, and governments. This cluster is among the fastest-growing globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Support shaping and executing Mastercard Services growth strategy for the cluster
• Lead cross-divisional sales efforts and projects, coordinating local and regional teams
• Identify critical market and client problems to find new business opportunities
• Develop deep knowledge of Mastercard Services capabilities to craft customized solutions
• Leverage subject matter experts to develop proposals
• Support the sales process from prospecting to contract signing, managing the sales pipeline
• Write persuasive proposals and communicate with executives
• Build and maintain relationships with mid-level client management
• Align efforts with Mastercard's core team for sales success
• Partner with project teams to ensure quality and follow-up sales opportunities
• Contribute to creating Intellectual Capital and act as a thought partner
• Participate in recruiting, training, and developing team members

All About You

• Consulting experience from a top-rated firm, payments/banking expertise, or experience with financial institutions preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and a track record of objectives delivery
• Ability to work independently or in a team, multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Required undergraduate degree; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree recommended.

Candidates must be eligible to work and travel in the applying country.
