Role Overview
As a Technical Pre-Sales Specialist, you'll be the bridge between customer needs and our software capabilities. This role blends technical know-how with business acumen to support the full pre-sales lifecycle, from lead qualification to proposal submission and product demonstration.
Responsibilities
•Lead Engagement & Qualification
• Collaborate with sales to qualify incoming leads and understand client business requirements
• Schedule and participate in client discovery meetings and technical discussions
•RFP / Proposal Management
• Review and respond to RFPs and RFIs across telecom solutions
• Develop comprehensive technical and financial proposals in coordination with engineering and commercial teams
• Ensure proposals are aligned with customer expectations and internal capabilities
• Solution Presentation & Demonstration
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demos to prospects
• Customize solution pitches based on audience type: technical, commercial, or executive
• Articulate the business value and technical benefits of the offerings
• Pre-Sales Cycle Execution
• Orchestrate the end-to-end pre-sales cycle involving engineering and sales stakeholders
• Track proposal status and proactively follow up to move opportunities forward
• Maintain up-to-date records of active deals and documentation in CRM
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Liaise with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure alignment with client needs
• Provide feedback to product managers based on market demands and customer feedback
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
• Proven experience in pre-sales or technical consulting within the telecom domain atleast 2 years dedicated Pre sales experience
• Solid understanding of OSS/BSS, CRM, billing, provisioning, IPTV, VoIP, and internet bandwidth products
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Familiarity with proposal writing and financial modeling
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple opportunities concurrently
Preferred Skills
• Hands-on experience with telecom software stacks
• Knowledge of competitive telecom technologies and market trends
• Proficiency in CRM and proposal management tools
• A client-focused mindset and proactive approach to solution development
